Main Tasks & Responsibilities:

Work in the SSC Nearshore RBU accounting team. The main tasks & responsibilities of the AP/AR Coordinator will include:

·    Check, review, validate payment proposals (payment to dealers/direct debit)

·    Random, ad-hoc checking of AR postings

·    Complex dealer and recharge AR invoice processing

·    Create AR accruals and customer reconciliations

·    Raise issues for any AR activities,

·    Check missing postings on AR including IDOC management

·    Review & provide guidance on AR reconciliations prepared by Offshore SSC

·    Aged item review, follow-up and analyses

·    Perform cash collection & cash netting activities with Dealers

·    Support the business & train team members in offshore understanding end to end AR processes and systems/workflows

·    Customers and especially dealer complex, language dependent queries management including handling dealer reminders, AR balance confirmation letters

·    Reconcile Dealers / IC partners balances

·    Review & provide guidance on AR reconciliations prepared by Offshore SSC

·    Document processes, participate in process improvements

·    Communication with local business departments, suppliers, external providers (auditor)

 

Minimum Education & Qualifications/Background & Experience:

·         Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Business/Accounting/Economy.

·         Minimum 3 year experience in AR accounting from Shared Service Center, BPO or BIG4

·         Knowledge & Practice of international accounting standard (IFRS)

 

Specific technical skills/Software knowledge:

·         Good knowledge of MS Office (specifically MS Excel) and SAP

·         Readiness and flexibility to travel for up to 2-3 month of time to Nissan Europe’s Plants in UK or Spain during migration period in the beginning of employment.

·         Strong written and verbal skills enabling effective communication at various levels inside and outside the organization

·         Professional skepticism.

·         Ability to work in a matrix, multicultural and fast-paced environment.

·         Process improvement and results oriented.

·         Fluent English (spoken and written)
