Overview
Purpose of the Position:
The Junior Fleet Transition Manager (JFTM) supports, controls, and coordinates Wizz Air’s aircraft redelivery, delivery, and warranty processes, ensuring smooth transitions and compliance with regulations.
Responsibilities:
- Support fleet life cycle management, including lease agreements and redelivery conditions
- Assist in lease negotiations and coordinate return processes with lessors
- Optimize redelivery planning and ensure compliance with regulations
- Manage budgets for End of Lease (EOL) programs and procurement
- Analyze EOL processes to improve efficiency and prevent issues
- Oversee aircraft warranty claims and defect monitoring
- Ensure adherence to Safety Management System requirements
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or related fields (Master’s is a plus)
- Fluent English (written & spoken)
- 2+ years of experience in aircraft technical, leasing, financing, or maintenance
- Strong negotiation & project management skills
- Knowledge of EASA OPS, Part M, Part 145, and Part 21 regulations
- Experience with AMOS and MS Office tools
