
Overview
On a daily basis:
- You ensure high customer satisfaction through effective and efficient processing of orders to meet Customer SLA requirements
- You examine customer orders to ensure the validity of product specifications (including configuration), quantities ordered, and any special pricing agreements or requirements
- You liaise with Customer Executives or Specialist Services teams if order details do not meet expectations
- You ensure efficient, prompt, and accurate order entry in accordance with Customer-specific SLAs and requirements
- You process sales orders in line with process specifications and requirements
- You check purchase orders to ensure all details are correct, align with Sales orders, and the appropriate source of supply has been selected (based on rebates, pricing, availability, inventory, contracts, customer requirements, etc.)
- You liaise with the Purchasing team for information on non-standard and non-compliant orders (if not already available in existing tools)
- You communicate with Customer Executives or other stakeholders if orders are blocked in the system due to margins, customer credit limit breaches, export control, etc.
- You select the appropriate delivery service, configuration, and other value-added services as required by the customer
- You liaise with internal service providers to obtain information related to sales order processing
- You process returns in accordance with SLA
- You ensure credits are processed in the system promptly
- You resolve order and invoice queries
- You maintain systems awareness training to stay up to date with any changes.
You are the ideal candidate if…
- You have a good command of spoken and written English AND French or German
- You have 1-2 years of experience in Sales Operations and/or a Customer Service environment
- You have experience handling customer orders
- You are customer and sales-oriented
- You are developing strong communication skills
- You have a flexible mindset and a ‘right first-time’ mentality in everything you do
- You demonstrate reliability, conscientiousness, a sense of responsibility, and initiative
- You have the ability to work in a team.
